“Competition” is a contest between individuals, groups, animals, etc. for territory, a niche, or a location of resources. In the case of Rocketeer’s it is who can burn the MOST APCP (that’s rocket fuel) in a single flight. LDRS XXXI will be full of Really COOL Flights.

Update: This is Heating up Al is gonna fly on a Cluster of 3 “M” EX motors. Dutch will be a single “O” EX.

Da Rules:
Must use a K and S Rocket Battle Wolf rocket
Must use a altitude recording altimeter
Rocket must return complete
Must use a 29-240 H series motor or a CTI Pro29 4gr H motor
If there is a tie for altitude we will look at the video to see who was the first off the pad to break the tie in each rack of rockets. If there is more than one rack of rockets, the winner from each rack will compete against each other for the prize.

The Prize: LDRS 31 Special. 4″ dia, 76.8″ tall, 54mm motor mount and is dual deployment. This kit will come with everything you need less motor and electronics.

Aerotech “DarkMatter” Drag Race
L900DM DarkMatter “Dan Michael Signature motor” Competition

- All Entrants MUST burn an Aerotech L900DM “Dan Michael Signature” sparky motor. Hardware for this motor is the 75/5120 motor.
- Rocket MUST use an altitude recording altimeter.
- Rocket MUST be returned intact, complete and in perfect flight again condition to competition director (MaryBeth Clune) for altitude recording and inspection.
- Competition will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday afternoon. All rockets are to fly in a Drag Race style. If there are more entries than the pads allow, another rack will be filled following the 1st rack, and so on.
- Winner will be the rocket attaining the highest altitude in this competition amongst all fliers.

- The Prize – An Aerotech “L900DM Dan Michael Signature motor” received from Gary Rosenfield, Karl Baumann or Dan Michael at the AEROTECH Vendor spot.

If you have never seen a DarkMatter load you are in for a Treat!

The waiver is of course in effect for this launch, a call in window can be made available up to 22,500 for those who need more than the standard 15k

The DINOSAURS ROCK PRIZE HUNT

I plan on launching the DINOSAURS ROCK-et EXTREME on Saturday at 11-AM latest. So the contest will start then.
25 cool realistic looking plastic dinosaurs will be deployed at 1200ft along with my main parachute. All dinosaurs will have a 8 or 12
inch parachute for safety purposes and gentle landing.

5 kids win that dinosaur
5 kids win that dinosaur plus a genuine fossil shark tooth
5 kids win that dinosaur plus a beautiful crystal filled geode
5 kids win that dinosaur plus an amazing dinosaur book
4 kids win that dinosaur plus a genuine dinosaur bone
1kid wins the GRAND PRIZE – if they find and bring back to me the GOLDEN DINOSAUR they win that dinosaur and a Genuine Spinosaurus Dinosaur Tooth.

All dinosaurs will be numbered and they must bring the dinosaur back to my tent to authenticate the win and to pick out their prize. The contest can last up until 3-PM on Sat as I will be packing up and leaving between 3 and 4PM that day.
